Data Deletion
If you commented on, or sent a message to, an Instagram account we manage, our tool Re:Creation Social Desk may hold a copy. You can have it deleted at any time.
How to ask
- Email hello@recreation.media.
- Use the subject line Data deletion request.
- Include your Instagram username so we can find your comments and messages.
What happens next
- We reply to confirm we received your request.
- We delete your comments, messages and username from Social Desk’s records and our working notes within 30 days. Copies held in backups or by service providers are removed on their own schedules, and we never restore deleted data.
- We email you when it is done.
Good to know
Deleting a comment or message inside Instagram removes it from Instagram. Our copy is deleted when you send the request above. We never sell this information. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
